$20 for a small pot of hibiscus with one tiny bloom!!!
I stood there wrestling with the idea of giving up my
plan to get chicken wings for lunch (and beyond…) and having a red bloom in the
house instead.
“You already have five pots of plants,” said the voice
inside my head. “Two pots of Philodendron you can propagate soon, two of Kalanchoe,
and one of Christmas cactus.”
“But nothing with blooms!” I countered.
“Well, if hibiscus blooms taste better than your chicken
wings…”
I hurriedly left with my wings, afraid to change my mind.
