Pavarotti sings…

Modena, Italy must be so proud having Luciano as its child, echoing his voice worldwide. From the Konzerthaus in Vienna to Hyde Park in London, from New York's Metropolitan Theater, Carnegie Hall and Central Park to Paris (with the Eiffel Tower humbled in his presence), the crowd came to love the tenor that captured their heart, captivated them, made them spellbound. (And who would forget the Three Tenors Christmas and "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas"?) Luciano sings goodbye at 71 though without an audience this time for he succumbed to pancreatic cancer with a silent song that was no tenor for pain it was he wouldn’t share ...only the joy we’re all dreaming.
