Young cashiers: Senior discount, ma’am?

Me: Umm… Not yet a senior but very soon, so you can give me the discount now if you want to.

The poor cashiers don’t know what to make of my statement, can’t figure out if I’m serious or kidding with my stoic face. Ha!
