From Print to Silver Screen

Owens’ Where the Crawdads Sing and Toews’ Women Talking: After reading these stories, I wished that they could be shared on the silver screen by some producers. My wish came true, and now comes a second wish: that viewers would take interest in the books and see how hundreds of pages of details were rendered in about two hours of imagery, sounds, actions and dialogs. Readers can also compare how faithful the movies are to the books. Any tweaks on the settings, characters or plots? Which version would they rather have? Enjoy these stories! MLJ/07/01/2023/
