I FOUND a new flower vase at a thrift store and was about to check out.
Me: When are you going to have a sale?
Cashier: Furniture is 20% off today. Tuesdays are for senior discount.
Me: I see… What age is senior?
Cashier: Fifty-five, miss.
Me: Yay! I’m qualified! I'm a senior here.
Hmm… The joy of being a senior. I wonder if I could afford fresh flowers with my pension though? MLJ/18/06/2022
