A son makes peace with his dying
mother who used to abuse her whole family, now with an understanding that his
mother was not to blame for what she had become because of her background.
I pray that everyone learns to
understand, and perhaps to forgive and forget, behaviours that are a result of
one's upbringing, environment or circumstances that are not of their own
choosing. We were all born to parents at a time and place that we didn't choose.
Now it may be easy for some to say that one always has the choice to go one way
or another until they learn that some people were born without any choice at
