The usual response: Gym, recess…
Clearly, Language Arts, Math, Health, Religion… were not the kids’ favourite in this class, but the regular teacher wanted a discussion of such at the end of the day so I had to ask as the guest teacher. One girl, however, made my day after saying, “My favourite part of the day was the dance exercise and having you teach us today” and giving me a hug – enough for me to forget about the long drive home… on Calgary’s slippery icy roads. 23 March 2017
