the bees and the butterflies
are having a grand time
flirting with their kind.
each time i step out,
a bee comes for an attack
as if i were a rival in its act.
(i probably look like it in black.)
each time i'm at the window,
it comes ready for a blow
taunting me to come out
while the sun seems to shout.
but i won't budge
though i'm stuck in my shack.
i just snap, snap, snap
and catch it with a clap.
