Against the blue, blue sky,
We stand skeletal.
With our crooked fingers begging for sun,
We look eerie, chilly and dry.
But deep within there’s a fire burning,
Buds of green it’s pushing.
Soon we’ll be flowering,
Casting rainbow colors against the sky of spring
And this wintry weather we’ll be kicking away.
