The strawberry farm

The strawberry farm
Boasts of its luscious strawberries
Glistening in the sun.
However, those who have grown old,
Sick, and ugly fell on the ground,
Crushed unkindly and never sold,
Never measured in pounds.

The strawberry farm
Boasts of its luscious strawberries
Glistening in the sun.
The young, lovely and crunchy ones
Are all adored, picked and sold
Get the chance to travel some
Into one’s anatomy, one’s world.

The strawberry farm
Boasts of its luscious strawberries
Glistening in the sun.
Young or old; adored or disdained,
Get back to the same ground
Where all are destined
Only… on different routes.
