Fifteen Dogs by Andre Alexis, found in Goodwill, kept me company during an overnight stay in Calgary Airport, waiting for the West Jet email that never came. Thanks to the mechanics' strike. Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt -- I couldn't put down until I was done laughing and crying. Highly recommended for a motion picture just like what I'd wished for A Man Called Ove and Where the Crawdads Sing. Thanks to producers who recognize good fiction.
