Cellphone in black case, in left pocket.
Keys in right pocket. New pants.
Pockets not deep enough.

In the store at 3:30. Cellphone gone.
Hmm… Maybe left at home. Deep breath.
Got home. No cellphone.
Panic! Back in the car. All’s black.
Black seats. Black lumbar support.
Black mats. Black and gray interior.

Panic! Back to the mall. Not in lost and found.
Aha! Telus shop! Was told to report online.
“My TELUS” it is, reporting lost device at 6:30.
“Find my device,” it did. Voila! Still on home network.
Run around the house. Nothing. Run to the car.
Finally! Light among everything black.

Honestly, can we still do without CPs?
To conclude, phone case should be changed.
New pants give away. Never again…
