Battery died. Revived.
Car washed. Fuel gauge still up.
But walked to the supermarket
While the sun was bearable,
And Calgary air breathable,
Reducing carbon footprint
After flying over the Pacific.
Wished for milk for my oatmeal
But prices were brutal killers
Shoppers felt choked. Kicked.
Got BC blueberries on sale
For they didn’t cross the Pacific.
Ah! With ice cream in the freezer,
Blueberry shake it is instead!
