The ignorant, the starving
For vote selling.
As long as the ruling class
Keeps the minimum wage minimal
Forcing parents to take multiple jobs
Leaving their children in the lurch,
As long as the ruling class
Cuts education budget to minimal
And limits who can get enlightened,
Vote selling and vote buying
Will remain until it’s another
1789.
