Hungry Chickadees?

Haven’t had breakfast today and I’ve walked around the park for an hour. Now my tummy’s rumbling and growling, so uncooked and unsalted pumpkin seeds I start munching. The chickadees must be thinking they could feed from my mouth. They fly to me, stop by my face, and fly back to a tree. Do they really want some of my seeds? I haven’t fed any wildlife here in my 12-year visits, and I think my uncooked and unsalted seeds are just the same as what they’ll find in the wild, so I hold some seeds out and true enough they fly back to me one by one, perch on my finger and grab one seed at a time until there is none left of my supply.
