CARBURN PARK AUGUST 2020

I was hoping to find my friend this morning, and there she was behind me while I took pictures of a woodpecker up a tree. She must've smelled the crackers in my purse, or in my mouth... The last time I saw her, she was feasting on something a middle-aged runner stealthily dumped on the grass (in front of this doe) like she'd done it before when she shouldn't have. I therefore had second thoughts about sharing my crackers, so we two just walked by the lake together. A lovely morning! MLJ/10/08/2020
